Liputan6.com, Jakarta Alice in Borderland season 3 released its first teaser, which again features Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya in the lead roles. The teaser features the two main characters, Arisu and Usagi, as they re-enter the world of Borderland for a mysterious mission.
The video footage uploaded on Tuesday (July 8) opens with the appearance of the Joker card. This important card also appeared at the end of the second season after Arisu (Kento Yamazaki) and his friends survived Borderland.

Arisu later emerged recovered from her coma, but was still haunted by the past. During an interrogation, she explained the transition from the moment she entered the deadly game world to her current state.
"Suddenly everything became silent. I felt like I was dreaming about a journey," Arisu said.
Usagi's point of view
A similar confession was made by Usagi (Tao Tsuchiya). She admits that she keeps hallucinating and seeing horrible things that are so familiar in her memory. The incident is related to Usagi's journey in Borderland, which remains lodged in her memory, even though it has been erased.
The story was followed by a scene where Usagi was in a building, then saw many corpses covered in blood, like in the previous game.
Arisu and Usagi are still not wholly free from the world of Borderland after the season two ending. The situation has become increasingly tense since the appearance of Ryuji (Kento Kaku), a researcher of the afterlife.

Back to the Borderland
Ryuji sparks Usagi to go back to the Borderland world. At the same time, Arisu gets the final card, Joker, from Banda (Hayato Isomura).
The teaser also reveals Arisu's primary mission in returning to Borderland, which is to find Usagi, who is lost there, so that they can return to the real world together. This ambition is even stronger because in this season, the two have become a married couple.
The last minute of AIB season 3 shows various types of gripping games that Arisu and Usagi must face. They have to face new games that have never been done before and are so life-threatening.
Third season
AIB's third season was confirmed about nine months after the series' second season was released in December 2022. Netflix, as the production house, confirmed that Akiraira and Tao Tsuchiya will return as Arisu and Usagi in the latest season.
Alice in Borderland season 2 ends with the surviving players getting the choice to stay in the Borderland world or leave. Those who choose to leave the Borderland world eventually return to the real world and wake up in the hospital.
Broadly speaking, the ending of the Alice in Borderland season 2 series is the same as the manga version. The original work also featured the appearance of the Joker card at the end, then continued with two spin-off manga.
Meanwhile, there is no detailed information available regarding the third season of Alice in Borderland, except for the important role of the Joker card, which will serve as the symbol of the participants' terrible game.
