Liputan6.com, Jakarta Rock music legend Ozzy Osbourne gave an emotional final solo performance before his final reunion with Black Sabbath in a farewell concert titled 'Back To The Beginning' at Villa Park, Birmingham, England, on Saturday (July 5).

This show also marks the end of the legend, who is often dubbed the father of metal music on stage.

The day-long concert featured top rock musicians, with Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine) acting as musical director.

In his solo act, Ozzy Osbourne was spectacular: rising from beneath the stage on a giant bat-winged throne, opening the set with "I Don't Know" and "Mr. Crowley" from his debut album Blizzard Of Ozz (1980).

"It's so good to be on this fucking stage, you wouldn't think it. Let the madness begin!" Ozzy Osbourne exclaimed to the crowd.

Ozzy Osbourne went on to perform classics such as "Suicide Solution", the emotional ballad "Mama, I'm Coming Home" (1991), and of course "Crazy Train" - the iconic song that is always played before the kick-off of his favorite club match, Aston Villa.

Epic collaboration

The concert also featured several epic collaborations. Personnel from The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Blink-182 came together to perform a Led Zeppelin classic.

While Yungblud led another supergroup in singing "Changes", dedicated to the late footballer Diogo Jota.

Ozzy Osbourne, who has been out of full-time performing since 2018 due to a series of surgeries and the onset of Parkinson's disease, called this his final form of dedication to his fans.
