Liputan6.com, Jakarta A 38-year-old man in Nanjing City, China, is in the spotlight after posing as a woman and reportedly dating 1,691 men.
He also recorded intimate relationships with the men he dated and uploaded the videos on the internet to gain popularity and profit.

Reporting from Mothership, Friday (July 11), this case first surfaced after a resident reported to the police that he appeared in an intimate video spread online.
After an investigation, police arrested the suspect surnamed Jiao under the online pseudonym "Nanjing Ah Hong" on Saturday (July 5) and detained him a day later on charges of illegally distributing pornographic material.
"Investigations revealed that Jiao had recorded sexual activities without the knowledge of the other party, and then disseminated them on online platforms," a police statement read.
The investigation is ongoing to determine the extent of the perpetrator's actions and identify the victims.
Posing as a woman on social media
Although all of the perpetrator's social media accounts and related videos have been deleted, screenshots believed to be from Jiao's posts continue to circulate on the Weibo platform.
In some of the screenshots, Jiao is seen wearing a brown wig with bangs, makeup, and female clothing, including a long-sleeved shirt, a surgical mask, and a half-skirt.
She is seen live streaming from a room equipped with a bed and a closet.
Several other images depict multiple men in the same room, suggesting that the encounters were repeated and involved a large number of people.
Citizens responded with a variety of reactions, ranging from outrage to concern.
"Check if your boyfriend or husband has been seen in the video," wrote one Weibo user.
Other netizens also warned of the risk of sexually transmitted diseases because the perpetrator's actions were carried out without a clear medical history.

Police response
The Nanjing police officers who arrested Jiao confirmed that the perpetrator had dated many men.
However, some rumors, including the number of victims and the age of the perpetrator, were reportedly false.
"The perpetrator surnamed Jiao is 38 years old, not 60 years old as mentioned on social media," said a police statement.
"It is true that the perpetrator had sex with many men and filmed without permission, but the number of victims did not reach 1,691 people as rumored," the statement added.
Health authorities intervene
Several staff members from the Nanjing City Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are investigating the case.
"We will make an official statement later," he told Jimu News media, declining to confirm whether the perpetrator had a sexually transmitted disease, citing privacy concerns.
Even so, the CDC advises anyone who feels they have been in contact with the perpetrator to immediately undergo a medical examination.
"Our center is open at all times for health checks for those who are worried," he added.
