Liputan6.com, Jakarta Beyoncé suffered a theft incident while on the Cowboy Carter tour in Atlanta, USA. An unknown person has stolen a jump drive containing her unreleased songs.
According to a report by FOX5 Atlanta on Wednesday, July 16, the Atlanta Police have investigated the theft of a jump drive that also contained set lists and recording plans for Beyoncé's shows, which was stolen from a car rented by her choreographer.
Meanwhile, the theft occurred on July 8, two days before Beyoncé began her four shows at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
In a statement, the local police said that two men, Christopher Grant and Diandre Blue, parked their car around 8:10 p.m. and returned to it an hour later.
Chronology of the theft
They returned to find the rear window of the rental car broken and both of their suitcases stolen while they were at the market. Officers traced the victims' computers and AirPods and found fingerprints on the vehicle.
One of the victims is said to have called 911 to report the theft.
"Someone broke into my car," said one of the victims.
"They stole my computer and everything. But the car has a tracker, so I can see where it is... that's very, very important information. It looks like I work with someone of high status and I really need my computer right now."
Followed up by police
Meanwhile, the police, who were following up on several leads, stated in the report, "Mr. Grant advised that he also took some sensitive personal information for musician Beyoncé,"
"He claimed to be her choreographer and Mr. Diandre Blue was her dancer, and his hard drive for an upcoming show in Atlanta was also stolen. The hard drive contained waterlogged music, some unreleased music, recording plans for the show, and a list of past and upcoming songs."
