Liputan6.com, Jakarta Legendary musician Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have just completed a world tour that set a career-high, totaling more than US$730 million in revenue.
The tour, which ran from 2023 to 2025, consisted of 129 shows across two continents.
Despite delays due to Springsteen's health issues, the concert series still made history, selling nearly 4.9 million tickets in total.
Exclusive list
According to Billboard, each show generated an average of 37,900 tickets sold and an income of around US$5.7 million per night, the highest figure in Springsteen's touring career.
This achievement also enabled Springsteen to enter the exclusive list of musicians with tour revenues exceeding US$700 million, joining other notable names such as Taylor Swift, U2, Coldplay, and Ed Sheeran.
Although ticket prices on this tour increased compared to previous tours, from an average of US$115 to US$149, the 29 percent increase is still considered below the usual price hikes for other stadium-scale concerts.
Five world artists
Overall, throughout his career, both as a solo artist and with the E Street Band, Springsteen has now recorded total tour earnings of more than US$2.3 billion.
This makes Springsteen one of only five artists in the world to break that mark.
The tour officially ended in early July in Italy, marking a monumental achievement in the 75-year-old's musical career.
