Liputan6.com, Jakarta An unexpected incident at a Coldplay concert has suddenly become the subject of global gossip.
Astronomer's CEO, Andy Byron, was caught cuddling with Kristin Cabot, the company's Head of HR, on the Jumbotron screen during Coldplay's performance at Gillette Stadium, Massachusetts.
Their video went viral on social media and led to allegations of an affair.
Official statement
In response to public scrutiny, Astronomer released an official statement on LinkedIn.
"Our leaders are expected to be role models of behavior and accountability. The board of directors has initiated a formal investigation into this incident and we will provide more information soon," the company wrote.
Astronomer also emphasized that there was misinformation circulating, including the misidentification of the third figure in the video and a parody account claiming to represent the CEO.
The case has become a hot topic of conversation, with many awaiting the results of Astronomer's official investigation.
Previously, Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot's embrace moment occurred during Coldplay's performance of “The Jumbotron Song”.
The camera panned to Byron and Cabot, who looked intimate as they enjoyed the concert.
As soon as they realized their faces were plastered on the giant screen, both looked panicked - even Byron crouched down to cover his face.

"Wow, look at these two guys. Either they're having an affair or they're just shy," said Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, jokingly heating up the atmosphere in front of thousands of spectators.
The video immediately went viral, sparking a flood of memes and speculation on social media.
The internet was busy identifying the two, while many netizens joked that the concert had turned into a “live drama”.
