The removal of "Tung Tung Tung Sahur" from "Steal a Brainrot" was not without reason.
As reported by Dexerto, Momentum Lab, the agency representing the character's creator, Noxaasht, claimed that "Tung Tung Tung Sahur" was their copyrighted intellectual property (IP).
The agency accused "Steal a Brainrot" of generating millions in revenue by using their work without proper licensing.
While Momentum Lab did not directly request the removal, "Steal a Brainrot" developer, Sammy, decided to withdraw the character from the game.
This move came amid ongoing legal discussions regarding the licensing and use of the "Tung Tung Tung Sahur" IP.
Sammy's decision was a proactive response to avoid potential future legal issues while awaiting clarity on the outcome of negotiations.
Tung Tung Sahur's Complete Removal
The removal of "Tung Tung Tung Sahur" has had a far-reaching impact on the gameplay experience in "Steal a Brainrot."
All appearances of this character, from the ramp entrance to his on-screen appearance, have now been completely removed.
Furthermore, "Tung Tung Tung Sahur" has also been removed from other "brainrot" games, such as "Brainrot Evolution."
Popular Roblox YouTuber KreekCraft highlighted the change, pointing out that Tung Tung was also removed from other brainrot games like Brainrot Evolution.
The character can no longer be found in the Brainrot Index, does not appear during special events, and is absent from the player's base.
Fusion units that previously featured "Tung Tung Tung Sahur" are no longer available from the Crafting Machine, and the requirements for the first Rebirth level, which previously required this character, have been changed.
In-game events like "Tung Tung Attack" and "Concert," which featured "Tung Tung Tung Sahur," are also no longer viewable.

Negotiations between Momentum Lab and the developers of "Steal a Brainrot" are ongoing.
