Liputan6.com, Jakarta TNA Bound for Glory 2025 successfully took place on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts, United States.

This annual professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event once again provided the stage for a fierce battle between TNA's best wrestlers.

The 21st edition of the Bound for Glory series featured Mike Santana as the headliner.

He defeated Trick Williams in a culminating match to capture the TNA World Championship.

This historic victory not only marked Santana's first TNA World Championship title but also returned the prestigious belt to TNA Wrestling, having been held by a WWE NXT Superstar since May 2025.

Mike Santana's Emotional Victory

Mike Santana made history at TNA Bound for Glory 2025 by winning the TNA World Championship.

He achieved this victory after defeating Trick Williams in a thrilling main event match.

This marked Santana's first time holding the TNA World Championship, making him the first champion of Puerto Rican heritage.

Santana's success also held significant significance for TNA Wrestling, as he reclaimed the TNA World Championship, which had been held by WWE NXT Superstar Trick Williams for 141 days after defeating Joe Hendry at WWE NXT Battleground.

The Dramatic Match

The main event match between Mike Santana and Trick Williams began with high intensity even before the bell rang.

Williams provoked Santana with an insulting ring introduction, sparking a heated brawl outside the ring.

The fight spilled into the crowd, where Santana attacked Williams with a trash can.

Williams retaliated by hitting Santana in the head with the TNA World Championship belt, adding to the early drama of the match.

After the match officially began, Williams dominated for a while, even drawing blood from Santana's forehead after pushing him into the ring post.

However, the momentum shifted when Williams taunted Santana's daughter, Arianna, who was sitting in the front row.

Santana's daughter responded by slapping Williams, giving Santana the opportunity to recover and launch a counterattack.

Santana, accompanied by his mentor Konnan, overcame interference from Williams' lawyer.

He then finished the match with his signature move, "Spin the Block," to win the pinfall victory, confirming his title as the new TNA World Champion.

Post-Match Drama

Following Mike Santana's victory, the drama at TNA Bound for Glory 2025 wasn't over.

Nic Nemeth, who had previously won the "Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match" and had the right to redeem his title at any time, attempted to cash in on his title opportunity.

However, Nemeth's efforts were dramatically failed when the lights went out and Elias appeared, hitting Nemeth with a guitar and prevented him from directly challenging Santana.

Shortly afterward, Frankie Kazarian, another “Call Your Shot Gauntlet” winner, also attempted to cash in on his opportunity.

However, Santana swiftly stopped Kazarian's attempt, ensuring his title reign.

Santana then celebrated his emotional victory in the ring with his daughter, Arianna, who witnessed the historic moment.
