Liputan6.com, Jakarta The world of professional wrestling was once again thrilled with the return of one of its legendary shows, WWE Saturday Night's Main Event.

On November 1, 2025, the event successfully took place at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, delivering a series of championship matches packed with action and drama.

The 41st edition of WWE Saturday Night's Main Event was a major highlight for wrestling fans worldwide.

The event aired live at 7 p.m. ET on Peacock for viewers in the United States and on YouTube for international viewers.

Four championship titles were on the line that night, featuring top WWE superstars such as CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill, and Dominik Mysterio.

Main Event Results and Title Matches

The first match to capture attention was the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship between CM Punk and Jey Uso.

In an intense battle, CM Punk defeated Jey Uso, becoming a seven-time world champion.

This victory came after Punk executed a devastating Go To Sleep, ending Uso's fierce resistance.

Next, Cody Rhodes successfully defended his WWE Undisputed Championship against Drew McIntyre.

McIntyre attempted to use the belt as a weapon, but Rhodes swiftly countered the situation. Rhodes secured the victory with a DDT and then the iconic Cross Rhodes.

In the women's division, Jade Cargill defeated defending champion Tiffany Stratton to capture the WWE Women's Championship.

Cargill displayed her physical dominance with a series of slams and powerbombs, culminating in a Jaded move to earn the pinfall and her first WWE Saturday Night's Main Event title.

The final match was a Triple Threat match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, featuring Dominik Mysterio (the defending champion), Penta, and Rusev.

Mysterio successfully retained his title after a thrilling match.

CM Punk's Redemption

CM Punk's first reign as WWE World Heavyweight Champion lasted only a few minutes.

He defeated Gunther in the main event of WWE SummerSlam 2025 to capture the gold. It didn't take long for Rollins to steal the title from Punk.

Now, Punk could reign as the top men's titleholder on Monday Night Raw for much longer.

He's expected to face some significant challenges, and he's now an even bigger target for The Vision.

Bron Breaker has made it clear that he intends to pursue the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

The History of WWE Saturday Night

WWE Saturday Night's Main Event has a rich history in American professional wrestling.

It first aired on NBC from 1985 to 1992, then briefly moved to Fox.

Known for showcasing star-versus-star matchups and title defenses rarely seen on free-to-air television, it was a key driver of the "second golden age" of professional wrestling in the United States.

After a successful initial run, WWE Saturday Night's Main Event was revived for the first time between 2006 and 2008.

During this revival, five special episodes aired as part of primetime programming on NBC, before going on hiatus again in 2008.

In 2024, as part of the deal that saw WWE SmackDown move from Fox to USA Network, WWE announced a second revival of Saturday Night's Main Event.

The show currently airs on NBC and can be streamed on Peacock, as well as on YouTube for viewers outside the US.

The August 2025 announcement also confirmed two exclusive events on Peacock in November and December 2025, including the recent edition.
