Reminiscing About Everybody Loves Raymond's Iconic Cast
The series "Everybody Loves Raymond," which aired for nine seasons from 1996 to 2005, is known for its strong cast and relatable characters.
Ray Romano played Raymond "Ray" Barone, a sportswriter often caught between his family. Patricia Heaton, on the other hand, brilliantly portrayed Debra Barone, Ray's patient but firm wife, winning two Emmys for her performance.
Brad Garrett also stole the show as Robert Barone, Ray's moody and often jealous older brother.
His outstanding performance earned him three Emmy Awards for Best Supporting Actor.
Meanwhile, Monica Horan, the real-life wife of series creator Phil Rosenthal, played Amy MacDougall, Debra's best friend and later Robert's wife.
The Barone family wouldn't be complete without Ray's parents, Marie and Frank Barone, played by Doris Roberts and Peter Boyle.
Doris Roberts, who passed away in 2016, was known for her role as the meddling mother-in-law, while Peter Boyle, who passed away in 2006, portrayed the grumpy yet hilarious father.
Ray and Debra's children were also integral to the Everybody Loves Raymond cast.
Madylin Sweeten played Ally Barone, their eldest daughter, while twins Sawyer and Sullivan Sweeten played Geoffrey and Michael Barone.
Sadly, Sawyer Sweeten passed away in 2015, leaving the entire production team and fans deeply saddened.
