Tata Motors officially launched the 2025 Tata Sierra SUV on November 25, 2025, marking the long-awaited revival of a legend.

This launch positions the Sierra as a strategic mid-size SUV offering, positioned below popular models like the Harrier and Safari in Tata Motors' product lineup.

Along with its launch, Tata has equipped the Sierra with several segment-leading features, further enhancing its appeal in the competitive SUV market.

The model promises a blend of modern design, advanced technology, and comfort, making it a top choice for buyers.

A Dark Edition variant featuring a sporty all-black appearance is also likely.

In terms of engine options, the 2025 Sierra will initially launch with an Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) option.

Three ICE engine options are available: a 1.5-liter TGDi Hyperion turbo-petrol engine (170 PS/280 Nm), a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine (106 hp/145 Nm), and a 1.5-liter Kryo.

An electric (EV) version will follow later, built on Tata's acti.ev platform and likely sharing the dual-motor AWD configuration with the Harrier EV.

Iconic Design Meets Modern Features

Modern exterior features include a stylish full-width LED light bar, a textured grille, and flush-fitting door handles, adding to the premium feel.

The "Alpine Window" rear window, a hallmark of the old Sierra, is also cleverly replicated through wide B-pillar trim, large glass, and a glossy black roof.
