Liputan6.com, Jakarta - The second season of a popular fantasy series Percy Jackson and the Olympians has been officially released by Disney+.
This second season adapt the second book in Rick Riordan's novel series, "The Sea of Monsters" and premiered on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, exclusively on Disney+ and Hulu.

The first two episodes will be released immediately on that date, followed by new episodes weekly.
Rick Riordan, the original author of the book series, is back as a writer and executive producer.
The new adventures of Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, and Grover Underwood will take them on a perilous mission to save Camp Half-Blood from an ever-increasing threat, while facing both new and old enemies.
Sea of Monsters: Camp Half-Blood Rescue Mission
The main plot of Percy Jackson's second season will center on the trio of heroes' efforts to rescue Grover Underwood, who is in danger after his quest for Pan, the God of the Wild, fails.
The threat comes not only from outside but also from within Camp Half-Blood, where the camp's protective boundaries are threatened after the Thalia Tree is poisoned.
To save the camp from destruction, Percy and his friends must undertake a perilous journey into the Sea of Monsters.
Their goal is to find the Golden Fleece, a magical artifact believed to have the power to heal anything, including the dying Thalia Tree.
This season will also introduce a key new character, Tyson, Percy's Cyclops half-brother, who will join the quest.
Meanwhile, Luke Castellan, who betrayed Percy in the first season, will return with a more crucial role in Kronos's evil plan to destroy Camp Half-Blood and Olympus.

The second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians premiered on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, with two episodes.
Thereafter, one new episode will be released weekly on Wednesdays until the final episode.
A total of eight episodes will accompany fans until early 2026.New episodes will be released in the United States at 12:00 a.m. PST / 3:00 a.m. EST.
For viewers in other territories, such as the UK, new episodes will be available at 8:00 a.m. GMT.

Cast List and New Characters Joining
The main cast from the first season will return to bring fan-favorite characters to life.
Walker Scobell will return as Percy Jackson, accompanied by Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, and Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood.
Supporting cast members including Charlie Bushnell (Luke Castellan), Dior Goodjohn (Clarisse La Rue), Toby Stephens (Poseidon), Virginia Kull (Sally Jackson), Glynn Turman (Chiron), Jason Mantzoukas (Dionysus), Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hermes), and Adam Copeland (Ares) will also return.
The second season will also introduce several exciting new faces. Daniel Diemer will play Tyson, Percy's Cyclops half-brother.
Courtney B. Vance takes over the role of Zeus, replacing the late Lance Reddick.
Additionally, Tamara Smart will play Thalia Grace, Andra Day will play Athena, and the Grey Sisters will be played by Sandra Bernhard, Kristen Schaal, and Margaret Cho.
Timothy Simons will play Tantalus, and Aleks Paunovic will play Polyphemus.
