Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Global pop icons BTS recently announced their highly anticipated 2026-2027 world tour, marking their return as a full group after all members completed their mandatory military service.

The tour will be the largest of their career, spanning multiple continents and featuring their long-awaited new album.

This announcement comes just weeks after BTS released their comeback single on March 20, 2026.

This global tour will be the group's first full-scale tour since reuniting as a full group, promising an unforgettable experience for millions of ARMYs worldwide.

With 79 shows spanning 34 regions across five continents, the BTS World Tour 2026-2027 is poised to make history in the K-Pop music industry.

BTS's new album will be released on March 20, 2026, at 1 p.m. KST (March 19, 11 p.m. ET), according to their official fan platform.

The album's release date was confirmed through handwritten notes sent by BTS members to select members of their fan club, ARMY, in December 2025.

Pre-orders for the upcoming album will begin on January 16 at 1 p.m. KST (January 15 at 11 p.m. ET).

The North American tour will conclude in September 2026 with four shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

Tickets for the BTS World Tour 2026-2027 will be available starting Thursday, January 22, through the ARMY MEMBERSHIP presale.

Specific dates for the general presale will follow on Friday, January 23.

The general sale for all regions will open on January 24.

Fans wishing to participate in the ARMY MEMBERSHIP presale must register by January 18 at 6 p.m. ET via Weverse to be eligible.

For the Japanese shows, tickets are managed through a lottery system, with advance lottery applications available only to BTS Japan Official Fanclub members.


Full Group Reunion After Military Service

BTS's return to the global stage is possible after all seven members complete their mandatory military service in South Korea.

RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook will be discharged in June 2025, joining Jin and J-Hope, who completed their service earlier.
