Liputan6.com, Jakarta - The Lincoln Lawyer season four has premiered, featuring Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), who runs his business from the comfort of his Lincoln, defending himself in the latest episode, which aired Thursday, February 5th on Netflix.
The suspenseful plot picks up where the season 3 finale left off, with the most exciting twist in all four seasons of The Lincoln Lawyer—threatening to send Haller to prison for a crime he didn't commit.

Now, The Lincoln Lawyer showrunner Ted Humphrey has confirmed that the series will continue for a fifth season, as reported by Tudum.
“Being wrongfully accused of something, spending time in jail, and having to fight for your very life or your freedom is just fundamentally different from doing that on behalf of clients that you represent. It can’t not change you,” showrunner Ted Humphrey told Netflix’s Tudum after season 4 ended.
“What that change means to Mickey or how that change manifests itself in his life is something we’re excited to explore going forward.”
What to Expect from the Upcoming Season
As reported by Esquire, the fifth season will reportedly adapt one of Michael Connelly's novels from The Lincoln Lawyer series, Resurrection Walk. Naturally, the story follows Haller as he represents a client who has been wrongfully convicted of a crime—just like himself.
Resurrection Walk also features Haller's half-brother, another famous TV detective named Harry Bosch.
The fifth season will consist of 10 episodes, inspired by the seventh book in The Lincoln Lawyer series, Resurrection Walk, by author Michael Connelly.
In addition to Garcia-Rulfo, The Lincoln Lawyer also stars Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, and Cobie Smulders.
Release Date Prediction
Although a fifth season has been confirmed by Ted Humphrey and Netflix, there is still no certainty when The Lincoln Lawyer season 5 will be released.
However, based on the precedent of previous seasons, it is likely to be released a little over a year after season 4.
This has been the case with all previous seasons, with the gap between seasons 3 and 4 being the largest so far, at one year and four months.
Given this, a summer 2027 release date seems likely.
