The shocking shooting incident happened between 1:15 and 1:21 PM local time on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
The suspect, Ivanna Ortiz, parked her white Tesla directly in front of the gate of Rihanna's luxury property in Beverly Hills.
Ortiz then opened fire using an AR-15 assault rifle, with an estimated 7 to 10 bullets were fired into the residence
After carrying out the attack, the suspect immediately fled the scene.
The bullets struck several parts of the property, including the main gate and an RV parked in the driveway.
At least one bullet reportedly penetrated the wall of the main building.

Arrest and Identification of the Attacker
Just three minutes after the initial report was received, officers were able to track the vehicle used by the perpetrator.
Ivanna Ortiz was eventually arrested without incident at the Sherman Oaks Galleria shopping center.
This arrest location was approximately 12 kilometers (8 miles) from Rihanna's residence, indicating that the perpetrator did not manage to flee very far.
During the arrest, officers searched Ortiz's vehicle.
Inside the white Tesla, an assault rifle believed to have been used in the shooting was found, along with seven shell casings, further corroborating Ortiz's involvement.
Ivanna Ortiz, a 35-year-old from Florida, now faces serious charges of attempted murder.
Motive and Background of the Suspect
Ivanna Ortiz was charged with attempted murder, with bail set at $10.2 million, or approximately IDR 158 billion.
Police have not established any personal relationship or direct connection between the suspect and Rihanna or A$AP Rocky.
Ortiz's public records show several previous arrests in Florida, including a bankruptcy case in 2013, a reckless driving charge in 2021, and a domestic violence and assault charge in 2023.
Interestingly, Ortiz is known to be a licensed speech pathologist.
However, her social media activity in the weeks leading up to the incident suggests an obsession with Rihanna.
On February 17, she posted a meme accusing Rihanna of having AIDS.
Then, on February 23, Ortiz tagged Rihanna on Facebook, writing, "Say something to me directly instead of sneaking around like you're talking to me somewhere I'm not."
