The 87-year-old reportedly suffered a broken neck after a fall on Sunday, March 29, 2026, in the Nashville, Tennessee area.

Despite the severity of his injuries, his team announced on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, that Stevens was in stable condition and recovering at home.
"He was briefly hospitalized in the Nashville area and is now recovering at home," the press release read.
