'CoComelon: The Movie' is scheduled to hit theaters on Friday, February 19, 2027.

This release date was confirmed after some speculation regarding the release date.

The official announcement of the film's first look and voice cast was made on May 14, 2026, sparking excitement among families and children worldwide.

The film is the first big-screen adaptation of the highly successful CoComelon franchise on YouTube, with billions of monthly views.

"CoComelon: The Movie" will be distributed by Universal Pictures, one of the world's largest film studios.

The film's production involves a collaboration between Moonbug Entertainment, Flywheel Media, Prime Focus Studios, and DreamWorks Animation.

The stunning 3D CG animation will be handled by DNEG Group, a studio renowned for its work on various animated films and visual effects.

Rumors of the development of a CoComelon film have been circulating since 2023, and the project was officially confirmed in May 2025.

Kat Good, previously known as the story artist for the Kung Fu Panda films, will direct the film.

The main character, JJ, will be voiced by Connor Esterson, known for Spy Kids: Armageddon.
