Liputan6.com, Jakarta - In May 2026, the White House officially launched a website that sparked widespread public debate.

The website used UFO and "alien" themes to refer to undocumented immigrants in the United States.

This launch was part of the Donald Trump administration's strategy to revamp and strengthen its deportation agenda.

The website specifically highlighted immigrant arrest data and enforcement information conducted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

This move came amidst increasing aggressive rhetoric on immigration issues.

The White House's decision to use this controversial terminology and visuals drew widespread attention.

Many critics considered this approach dehumanizing and inflammatory.

White House Controversial Website Launch

The website launched by the White House uses the domain 'aliens.gov,' a legitimate government asset.

The site's design features striking sci-fi visuals, including scrolling text reminiscent of the opening credits of a Star Wars film against a starry backdrop.

The space-themed graphics further reinforce the alien feel.

The site's opening message states, "They walk among us," before going on to claim that "aliens" have been living in American communities for decades.

The site also adds the narrative that "They've shopped in the same stores, attended the same classes as our children, and lived seemingly normal human lives."

The narrative concludes with  statement, "With one exception – they don't belong here."

The use of the term "alien" to refer to undocumented immigrants has sparked a wave of criticism.

Although the term is rooted in US immigration law, many consider it inflammatory and dehumanizing.

Critics argue that the website leverages the imagery and language of extraterrestrial conspiracy culture to negatively portray immigrants.

Content Focus and Purpose of Immigration Website

The website specifically highlights immigrant arrests and enforcement data collected by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

One of its key features is an interactive heat map displaying immigration arrest data across the United States.

Users can search by city or state to see total arrests, detainees' countries of origin, and any suspected criminal charges or gang affiliations.

The site also includes an ICE tip portal.

This portal allows the public to report "suspicious aliens," a feature that further reinforces the site's law enforcement objectives.

The primary purpose of the site's launch was to promote the Trump administration's mass deportation agenda.

The site explicitly claims that these "aliens" are "millions of ILLEGALs invading our country under cover of darkness."

The message concludes with a call to "Secure the border. Deport them all."

"Report Suspicious Alien"

A large red link to an ICE complaint line at the bottom of the page encourages users to "report suspicious aliens."

The website accuses “countless presidents, congressmen, and senior officials” of covering up the “invasion.”

Meanwhile, Trump is praised as “one man [who] finally had the courage to tell the truth.”

“President Trump was the first to call out the real danger Aliens pose to every American family, every community, and the future of our nation,” the website states.

“The truth is no longer out there. It is right here. Right now.”
