While there will be no more scheduled content updates for the foreseeable future, Bungie stated that they may still release hotfixes to maintain the health and stability of the game.
This update marks a significant moment for the Destiny 2 community, who have come together to defeat the Darkness, destroy gods, and shape legendary stories across the Sol system.
Since its launch, each year's “Moments of Triumph” has celebrated the highlights of Destiny 2's latest chapter.
Now, “Monument of Triumph” expands that celebration, bringing together experiences from across the entire Destiny 2 journey.

A Monument of Triumph now stands majestically in the center of the Tower courtyard.
Behind the monument, four plaques celebrating the "Guardian Tenets" have been installed.
Interacting with these plaques will unlock access to different vendors that allow players to purchase rewards using "Legendary Marks."
"Legendary Marks" return from the previous "Triumph" era and can be earned by completing various "Triumphs" throughout the game.
This currency can be exchanged at four different "Guardian Tenet" vendors in the Tower for a variety of free armor ornaments, accessories, weapon engrams, and other items.
Players can easily view available "Triumphs" by filtering by "Monument" in their "Triumphs" screen.
Players who successfully unlock the “Immortal” title will have the opportunity to purchase a Bungie Rewards “Monument of Triumph” shirt in the Bungie Store until September 30, 2026.
Quality of Life and Game Architecture Improvements
Several significant system and quality of life updates have been implemented to enhance the gameplay experience.
Vault capacity has been increased from 1,000 to 1,300 slots, while loadout slots have been expanded from 12 to 20.
The Artifact system will no longer rotate; seven modified “Artifacts” from previous seasons are now available with a simplified perk selection system and can be stored with your loadout.
Additionally, there are no longer Artifact nodes for anti-champion weapons; all in-game archetypes are now given specific anti-champion functionality by default.
Vendors such as Banshee-44, Saint-14, and Zavala will provide focusing features that allow players to earn rewards from the “Edge of Fate,” “Ash and Iron,” and “Renegades” eras.
Players can also focus Bright Engrams using Bright Dust to acquire previous cosmetics, with the Eververse Bright Dust store rotating daily and featuring more items.
The weapon tier upgrade feature allows players to spend materials to upgrade perks without adding multiple columns, and crafted weapons and adepts can be upgraded to Tier 5 power equivalents.
Six new armor archetypes that combine different stats have also been added, and the Director now replaces the Portal as the main screen.
The Return of an Iconic Event and New Activities
The “Monument of Triumph” update brings back Destiny 1’s iconic Sparrow Racing League (SRL) event, complete with all the old maps and one new one.
The “Pantheon 2.0” raid event also returns with new bosses, rewards, and gameplay.
The first two “Pantheon” activities will be available on June 9th, the full gauntlet on June 13th, and the weekly rotation of individual bosses will begin on June 16th.
Additionally, a new weapon-focused PvP mode called “4v4 Crucible Collision” has been introduced.
“Distortions” now spread across destinations in the Sol system, offering a higher level of challenge and unique rewards, rotating through one destination every hour.
Seasonal events such as “Festival of the Lost,” “The Dawning,” “Guardian Games,” and “Solstice” have been permanently discontinued.
Collectible gear from these events can now be obtained through the “Monument of Triumph” vendor, while armor ornament sets previously available for “Bright Dust” can now be accessed through direct trading and “Bright Engram Focusing.”
