Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Country singer Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, has officially filed for divorce from his wife, Bunnie XO, whose real name is Alisa DeFord.
The lawsuit was filed in Williamson County, Tennessee, on May 18, 2026.

News of the divorce filing was first reported by TMZ on June 15, 2026, and later confirmed by People through court records.
The couple, who married in Las Vegas in August 2016, are known for their openness about the ups and downs of their relationship.

Irreconcilable Differences and Daughter Reaction
In his divorce filing, Jelly Roll listed "irreconcilable differences" as the primary reason for the separation.
He also stated that he and Bunnie "cannot successfully live together as husband and wife."
A Jelly Roll source said Tuesday that the two have “always had a complicated dynamic” that has existed since the beginning of their relationship.
Sources close to the couple revealed that the decision to end their marriage was mutually agreed upon and considered a private family matter.
Their official date of separation is May 9, 2026, according to the divorce filing.
Bailee Ann, 18, uploaded a TikTok video on Tuesday, June 16, after hearing the news of her father and stepmother's divorce.
"Oh & one more thing I am disgusted at how invested everyone is in a very clearly private family matter," Bailee Ann wrote over a selfie. "It's fkn crazy."
"Go on somewhere yall," she continued. "Worry bout your house- not mine. I'm not speaking on it - yet."
Relationship Flashback and Admission to Infidelity
Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO first met in 2015 at a Jelly Roll concert.
As reported by PEOPLE, when they first met, Jelly was struggling financially, and Bunnie was supporting her as a sex worker. They developed a platonic friendship before their relationship escalated to a more serious level in 2016.
“When they first got together, they were both in a very different place in their lives,” the source said. “There was a lot of chaos, ups and downs, and they built a life together through all of that.”
After marrying in Las Vegas in August 2016, they renewed their wedding vows in 2023.
Their relationship has not been without challenges, including an admission of infidelity.
In October 2025, Jelly Roll admitted to having an affair early in his marriage to Bunnie XO during an appearance on the Human School podcast.
"One of the worst moments of my adult life was when I cheated on my wife," he said.
Bunnie XO also wrote about Jelly Roll's 10-month affair in 2018 in her 2026 memoir, "Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic."
Child Issues and the IVF Journey
Although he does not have biological children with Bunnie XO, Jelly Roll is the father of his daughter, Bailee Ann, and son, Noah Buddy, from a previous relationship.
Bailee Ann, who was born on May 22, 2008, will turn 18 on May 22, 2026, and is therefore not included in the divorce filing as an adult.
Jelly Roll's nine-year-old son, Noah, is also not named in the filing.
The couple has previously been open about their IVF journey to conceive.
Bunnie XO even revealed in her book that they planned to have twins via surrogate.
"I think we're just ready for a piece of us," she told PEOPLE in January.
"It has not been easy, but I know that God has a plan and he's going to make it work. I really do. I have no doubt in my mind."
However, Jelly Roll's divorce filing in Williamson County lists the type of filing as "Divorce — NO Children."
