Liputan6.com, Jakarta - The Federal Bureau of Investigation or FBI, along with law enforcement partners, successfully foiled an alleged attack plot targeting the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Freedom 250 event at the White House in Washington, D.C., in June 2026.

The plan involved the use of explosive-laden drones and sniper teams, primarily targeting senior government officials and VIP attendees, as reported by Fox News.

Five individuals have been arrested and charged in connection with the plot, while 23 others have been identified as part of the potential network.

The FBI's swift intervention on June 10, 2026, four days before the event, prevented a potential disaster at the presidential residence of the United States.

"Thanks to the rapid action of this FBI, our partners, and the Department of Justice in a multi-state operation, multiple individuals are now in custody and allegedly planned attacks were stopped cold," Patel said in a statement to Fox News Digital," FBI director Kash Patel said.

Drone and Sniper Attack Plan

Court documents detail the chilling modus operandi of the plot.

The perpetrators planned to detonate an explosive-laden drone over the north side of the UFC arena, aiming to trigger a mass evacuation.

The panicked crowd would then be directed toward a prepared sniper team position.

The second phase of the plan allegedly called for a storming of the White House gates.

Potential targets named in the court documents included several prominent figures, including President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Elon Musk.

Several other elected officials were also on the target list, such as Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn, Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton, and members of the West Virginia congressional delegation.

One of the suspects even identified the U.S. Congress as a target because of their support for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).

Attack Plan Details

The planning for the attack, conducted through encrypted text messages obtained by the FBI, involved approximately 20 participants sharing detailed maps of the White House area and discussing the need for a "safe house" and escape routes after the attack.

Investigators also discovered chats on the app Signal in which several individuals discussed pre-operational activities.

Tycen Proper, one of the suspects, communicated with other members through a TikTok group called "Vanguard of the Old" before switching to Signal to plan the attack.

The plan involved dividing the group into several tiers, ranging from those willing to put themselves in harm's way, to drone operators or getaway drivers, to logistics operators, to financiers and influencers.

The motives behind the plot were diverse, including grievances against the government and federal officials.

Court documents detail dissatisfaction with US support for Israel, the handling of the Jeffrey Epstein dossier, and data centers.

Tycen Proper explicitly stated that the attack was designed to "start" a revolution in the United States.

Rapid FBI Intervention and Arrest of Suspects

The FBI first learned of the potential threat on June 10, 2026.

Five individuals were arrested from various states, including Ohio, Missouri, Nebraska, and California.

The suspects charged for their roles in the scheme are Tycen Proper of Ohio, Daniel Eskridge of Missouri, Abraham Hermosillo Alvarez of Nebraska, and Bryan Omar Roa and Michael Alan Thomas of California.

Tycen Proper, 19, was arrested and charged with at least one count of conspiracy to commit murder, plus three additional counts.

Law enforcement sources reported that firearms, thousands of rounds of ammunition, and tactical gear were seized from the suspects during the execution of search warrants.

However, no drones were found.
