Quoted from People, Friday (July 11), the debt repayment includes US$26 million due to the cancellation of the Justice World Tour. A source said this debt was originally an advance payment received by Bieber from promoter AEG Presents.

When the tour was canceled, the promoter asked for the advance back from Justin Bieber. Scooter Braun, through his company at that time, HYBE America, then agreed to cover it.

He was willing to replace the return of the advance to the promoter, provided that Justin Bieber could repay it periodically to HYBE America and Braun.

However, Bieber, who originally agreed to pay off the debt in installments, only paid one installment. The Peaches singer finally agreed to pay off the remaining debt for US$26 million.
