The condemnation was conveyed through a recent Instagram Story upload. Rodrigo expressed her empathy for the Palestinian people who have been victims of humanity.

"There are no words that can describe the sadness I feel witnessing the destruction that has befallen innocent people in Palestine," Rodrigo said.

"Mothers, fathers, and children in Gaza are starving, dehydrated, and denied access to basic medical care and humanitarian aid," she continued.

The "drivers license" singer said that no child deserves to suffer, and urged people not to give up on fighting for humanity in Gaza.

"No child in Israel, Palestine or anywhere else in the world deserves to suffer what we see these children going through," Rodrigo said.

"This is horrific and completely unacceptable. To give up on them is to give up on our common humanity,"s he stressed.

Donation through UNICEF

At the same time, Rodrigo stated that she had made a donation through UNICEF to help the victims.

Olivia Rodrigo is not the only US pop star to express support for the humanitarian victims in Gaza. Lana Del Rey said that she prays for Palestine every day, while Billie Eilish condemned Israel's plan to forcibly relocate around 2 million Palestinians.
