Widely known for his iconic roles, he passed away on Friday morning, August 22, 2025, at the age of 65.
Jaswinder Bhalla died due to serious complications caused by a brain stroke, according to The Indian Express.

He was rushed to Fortis Hospital in Mohali after suffering a stroke on Wednesday evening, August 20, 2025.
His cremation is scheduled for August 23, 2025, at 12:00 noon, at Balongi Cremation Ground, Mohali.

Jaswinder Bhalla, a renowned actor and academic, passed away on August 22, 2025, after battling complications from a stroke.
The stroke struck on Wednesday evening, August 20, 2025, requiring intensive care at Fortis Hospital, Mohali.
This sad news was confirmed by his close friend and fellow performer, Balmukund Sharma.
Sharma stated that Jaswinder Bhalla suffered a stroke and received immediate medical attention, but his condition worsened until he died.
His family and friends have arranged for his cremation, which will take place on Saturday afternoon, August 23, 2025, at Balongi Cremation Ground, Mohali.

Before becoming known as a comedian and actor, Jaswinder Bhalla had an impressive academic background.
He earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), one of India's leading educational institutions.
Furthermore, Jaswinder Bhalla also completed his doctoral studies, earning a Ph.D. from Chaudhary Charan Singh Post Graduate College, Meerut.
His academic career began as an Assistant Professor at Punjab Agricultural University.
Jaswinder Bhalla dedicated most of his life to education, ultimately retiring on May 31, 2020, with his final position as Professor and Head of the Department of Extension Education at PAU.
