Critic Reviews of Nobody 2

Nobody 2 has received positive reviews from critics, although there are some significant caveats.

The Rotten Tomatoes website gave a 77% tomatometer rating from 171 reviewers and an 87% audience score from more than 1000 reviewers.

The film has been described as "bigger, bloodier, and crazier" than its predecessor.

Major praise was directed at Bob Odenkirk's performance as Hutch Mansell.

He successfully maintains his tired yet deadly character, making the violent scenes more humorous and keeping Hutch relevant to the audience.

The action sequences also received positive reviews, described as "fast, furious, and relentless" thanks to Timo Tjahjanto's direction, offering plenty of satisfying fight scenes.

However, Nobody 2 has not escaped criticism.

The main issue highlighted is the film's inability to recreate the sense of surprise that made the first film a success.

The audience already knows Hutch's secret, so the reveal element has been replaced by repetition, diminishing the emotional impact.

Furthermore, the plot was deemed "very thin" and built on clichés about corrupt cops, small-town crime lords, and family vacations gone wrong.

Some critics also felt that the sequel lacked the humor and bold storytelling of the first film, although it was still considered entertaining overall.
