Maruti Victoris: Flagship SUV with ADAS Level 2 Features and 5-Star Safety Rating

Maruti Victoris, the latest SUV from Maruti Suzuki, was officially introduced as the flagship model of the Arena, offering ADAS Level 2 features and a 5-star safety rating.

Liputan6.com, Jakarta Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) officially introduced its latest SUV, the Maruti Suzuki Victoris, on September 3, 2025.

This vehicle is positioned as a flagship product under the Arena dealer network and is poised to compete fiercely in the increasingly crowded compact SUV market.

The Victoris is designed to target the mid-size SUV segment, positioning it as a direct competitor to popular models like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.

Within Maruti Suzuki's product lineup, the Victoris will fill the gap between the Maruti Brezza and Maruti Grand Vitara.

The official market launch is expected to occur in October 2025, with some sources citing October 15 or 27.

The Maruti Suzuki Victoris is expected to be priced between ₹9.50 lakh and ₹20.00 lakh, and bookings have already opened with a reservation fee of ₹11,000.

Innovative Design and Reliable Platform Maruti Victoris

The Maruti Victory is built on Suzuki's proven Global C platform, the same platform used on the Grand Vitara.

Despite sharing the same underpinnings, the Victory features distinctive design elements, giving it its own unique visual identity.

These include modern new LED lighting elements, sporty 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and connected LED taillights, creating a cohesive and attractive look.

The front of the Victory has a calm yet characteristic appearance, with a futuristic center section, reminiscent of an electric vehicle (EV) surrounding the Suzuki logo.

Powertrain Options and Superior Fuel Efficiency

The Maruti Victory offers a variety of powertrain options to suit different customer needs.

The 1.5-liter mild-hybrid K15C petrol engine produces 102 bhp and 139 Nm of torque, mated to a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.

For maximum efficiency, the 1.5-liter M150 smart hybrid engine produces 91 bhp and 122 Nm of torque, paired with an e-CVT.

The Victory is also available in an S-CNG option, producing 89 hp, with a segment-first underbody fuel tank, ensuring uninterrupted luggage space.

The AllGrip Select all-wheel drive (AWD) system is also available for the Zxi plus and Zxi plus (O) variants with automatic transmission, providing enhanced off-road capability.

The Victory also features three driving modes: Eco, Normal, and Power, allowing the driver to adjust vehicle performance to suit road conditions and preferences.

Advanced Safety and Technology Features

The Maruti Victory has made history by achieving a 5-star safety rating in the Bharat NCAP crash test, making it the second Maruti car to achieve this distinction after the Dzire.

Even more revolutionary, the Victory is the first Maruti product to be equipped with Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

These ADAS features include automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control, significantly enhancing active safety.

Furthermore, the Victory also comes standard with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, and traction control.

It features a 10.54-inch (or 10.25-inch) SmartPlay Pro X touchscreen infotainment system with built-in apps and OTA updates.

The Suzuki Connect car connectivity system with more than 60 features, including the Alexa Auto AI voice assistant, as well as an eight-speaker premium sound system from Infinity Harman with Dolby Atmos 5.1 Surround Sound support.
