After a long wait, "Camp Rock 3" finally received official approval from Disney Branded Television.

This decision was enthusiastically received by loyal fans who have been waiting for the continuation of the Camp Rock story since the last film premiered over a decade ago.

Production has begun in Vancouver, Canada, marking the first step in bringing the world of Camp Rock back to the screen.

The official announcement on September 17, 2025, ended speculation and confirmed the involvement of big names behind the scenes.

The storyline of "Camp Rock 3" begins when Connect 3, the legendary band from Camp Rock, loses their opening act for their big reunion tour.

This situation prompts them to return to their hometown, Camp Rock, with the mission of finding the next big talent to join them on stage.

Furthermore, the story of "Camp Rock 3" will also be filled with the revelation of secrets and the development of unexpected romances between the characters.

"Camp Rock 3" will see the return of several familiar faces who have become iconic.

The Jonas Brothers, consisting of Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas, will reprise their iconic roles as the Connect 3: Shane, Nate, and Jason Gray, making a special guest appearance.

Maria Canals-Barrera will also return as Connie Torres, Mitchie's mother.

In addition to their cast, the Jonas Brothers will also serve as executive producers, along with Demi Lovato.

Tim Federle of "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series," along with Betsy Sullenger, Spencer Berman, and Gary Marsh, also join the executive producers.

Despite being an executive producer, Demi Lovato's role as Mitchie Torres has not been confirmed.

Veronica Rodriguez will direct the film, with a script written by Eydie Faye, and choreography handled by Jamal Sims.
