He breathed his last on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at approximately 8:30 p.m. local time.

Robo Shankar passed away at GEM Hospital in Chennai, India, after being admitted in critical condition.

The primary cause of death was massive gastrointestinal bleeding and multi-organ dysfunction, according to NDTV.

His health deteriorated rapidly despite intensive care.

Before his death, he was reportedly suffering from liver and kidney failure and had been diagnosed with jaundice.

Robo Shankar's Death Details

Robo Shankar was rushed to a private hospital in Chennai on September 16, 2025, after collapsing on the set of the film "GodsJilla" or at home.
