Unlike rumors of a foldable device, the iPhone Pocket is a 3D-knitted carrying pouch specifically designed to store your iPhone and other small essentials.
“The design of iPhone Pocket speaks to the bond between iPhone and its user, while keeping in mind that an Apple product is designed to be universal in aesthetic and versatile in use,” shared Yoshiyuki Miyamae, design director of MIYAKE DESIGN STUDIO.
“iPhone Pocket explores the concept of ‘the joy of wearing iPhone in your own way.’ The simplicity of its design echoes what we practice at ISSEY MIYAKE — the idea of leaving things less defined to allow for possibilities and personal interpretation.”

A Closer Look at the Stylish iPhone Pocket Accessory
The iPhone Pocket accessory is designed with ISSEY MIYAKE's signature "piece of fabric" concept, reimagining the everyday usability of the brand's iconic pleated garments.
The pouch is made of a 3D knit construction with an innovative ribbed mesh structure, allowing the iPhone to be fully encased while still revealing the screen when stretched.
Users can wear the iPhone Pocket as a shoulder bag, sling it around their wrist, or even attach it to other handbags.
The color palette is designed to match all iPhone models and colors, adding a personal touch to the user's style.
The iPhone Pocket is widely compatible, covering all iPhone models starting with the iPhone 8, as well as all AirPods models.
This ensures that most Apple users can enjoy this stylish accessory without worrying about compatibility with their devices.

iPhone Pocket Differences from iPhone Fold Rumors
It's important to emphasize that the "iPhone Pocket" is an accessory, not a foldable iPhone device, as has been widely rumored.
Rumors about a foldable iPhone have indeed circulated widely in the tech industry.
Various reports and expert analysis indicate that Apple is in the development stages of a foldable device.
However, a launch date is still thought to be a long way off, most likely not in 2025.
Some sources estimate that Apple's first foldable iPhone will launch in late 2026 or early 2027.
iPhone Fold: Design, Camera, and Rumored Specifications
Although the iPhone Pocket is an accessory, talk of a foldable iPhone remains high.
Recent rumors point to a "book-style" design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold, which would unfold into a larger screen about the size of an iPad mini.
The device is expected to be around 9–9.5mm thick when folded and only 4.5–4.8mm when unfolded, making it one of the thinnest foldable phones on the market.
The casing is likely to be made of titanium alloy with stainless steel and titanium hinges.
The inner display is expected to be around 7.8 inches, while the outer display is around 5.5 inches.
The camera features are also in the spotlight, with rumors of a 24-megapixel under-screen camera (UDC) on the inner display, a significant breakthrough.
Furthermore, the device is expected to be powered by the A20 Pro chip manufactured using TSMC's 2nm process, offering improved performance and power efficiency.
The price is expected to be around $1,999.
