Discord has officially launched "Discord Checkpoint," an annual recap feature dubbed "Discord Wrapped" by users. This feature allows users to view their personal activity throughout the year.

Now, Discord, the popular communication platform for gamers and communities, seems to be keeping up with the trend and has launched a similar annual feature called Discord Checkpoint.

This feature, dubbed "Discord Wrapped" by many users, began rolling out globally on December 4, 2025.

Similar to popular annual recaps from other platforms like Spotify Wrapped and YouTube Recap, Discord Checkpoint 2025 is designed to summarize usage data in an engaging way.

Users can now view a variety of interesting statistics about their activity.

This initiative allows individuals to review key moments, conversations, and communities they participated in on Discord.

Getting to Know Discord Checkpoint 2025

Discord Checkpoint 2025 is Discord's first annual activity recap feature.

It's designed to provide users with personalized insights into their platform usage throughout 2025, similar to the Discord Wrapped concept already known on other platforms.

The goal is to summarize user interactions in an easy-to-understand and shareable format.This feature displays a variety of interesting personal statistics.

Users can view the total messages and reactions they sent, the number of hours spent in voice channels, and their most frequently used emojis.

In addition, Discord Checkpoint 2025 also highlights the user's most active Discord servers and the friends they interact with most frequently via direct messages (DMs).

This data is complemented by a list of the top five games the user played while they were active on Discord.After reviewing their personalized recap, users will receive one of ten unique "Checkpoint Cards."

This card comes with an exclusive avatar decoration that can be used until January 15, 2026.

Users can also easily share their statistics summaries in the form of eye-catching cards in chats, with sensitive details hidden to maintain privacy.

Personal and Global Statistics in Discord Checkpoint

In addition to the personal recap, Discord also released some interesting global statistical highlights of platform activity throughout 2025.

A total of 744 billion messages and reactions were sent on Discord in 2025, demonstrating the intensity of user interaction.

In the emoji category, the red heart emoji (❤️) topped the list as the most frequently used globally.

It was followed by the crying face emoji (😭) and the laughing face emoji (😂), while the fire emoji (🔥) made it into the top five for the first time.

The dominance of gaming on the Discord platform is also clearly visible.

League of Legends maintained its position as the most played or streamed game on Discord for 16 consecutive years, proving its enduring popularity.

Meanwhile, REPO was recognized as a top indie game, and Rematch emerged as a breakthrough game that garnered attention.

Top communities included Minecraft, Genshin Impact, and Marvel Rivals also participate in the trend.

How to Access the Annual Recap

To view your Discord Checkpoint 2025, ensure your Discord app is updated to the latest version.

Accessing it is quite easy, whether on desktop, web, or mobile.

On desktop or web, look for the small flag icon in the top-right corner of the app, near your inbox, or look for the large green banner that may appear when opening the app.

For mobile users, you can tap your profile picture, then look for the Checkpoint banner in the "You" tab.

It's important to remember that this feature is rolling out gradually, so it may take a few days for it to appear on all accounts.

Restarting the app may also help speed up the appearance of your recap.There are a few important things to know about Discord Wrapped.

If you haven't had sufficient activity on Discord throughout 2025, your recap may not be generated.

Additionally, this feature requires the "Use data to personalize my Discord experience" privacy setting to be enabled.

If this setting is disabled, Discord cannot track your activity to create Checkpoints.

Re-enabling this privacy setting will not make past Checkpoints retroactively viewable.
