Life is Strange: Reunion Releases March 26, 2026, the Long-Awaited End of Max and Chloe's Saga

The latest adventure game, "Life is Strange: Reunion," will be released globally on March 26, 2026.

Developed by Deck Nine Games and published by Square Enix, "Life is Strange: Reunion" is the fifth main installment in the series and serves as a direct sequel to "Life is Strange: Double Exposure," which was released in 2024.

"Reunion" will conclude the Max and Chloe saga, long awaited by fans worldwide and take players back to Caledon University, where Max Caulfield now works as a photography teacher.

"Life is Strange: Reunion" is set at Caledon University.

Max Caulfield returns from a weekend getaway to find the campus engulfed in flames, destroying buildings and claiming many lives.

Luckily, Max escaped the destruction thanks to her "Rewind" power, a supernatural ability that allows her to reverse time.

Using her Rewind power through a selfie, Max now has three days to discover how the fire started and prevent the disaster.

In the midst of this crisis, Chloe Price arrives in Caledon, surprising Max.

Chloe's arrival is a surprising consequence of Max's merging of timelines at the end of "Life is Strange: Double Exposure."

Chloe is haunted by nightmares about a past she never lived, and her grip on reality begins to waver.

She needs Max's help to understand and overcome this situation. For the first time in the series, players can play as both Max and Chloe alternately.

Max will use her Rewind power to undo decisions, change the course of conversations, and manipulate the environment to solve four-dimensional puzzles.

Meanwhile, Chloe will use her "Backtalk" ability, quick wit, and uncompromising attitude to influence the prime suspect and access areas Max cannot reach.

Choices players make in the first game and "Double Exposure" regarding Chloe's fate will be reflected through branching dialogue options.

"Life is Strange: Reunion" is scheduled to launch globally on March 26, 2026. The game will be available for multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

PC players can purchase it through Steam and the Microsoft Store on Windows.

Unlike previous "Life is Strange" titles, which were released episodically, "Life is Strange: Reunion" will be available in its entirety on launch.

"Life is Strange: Reunion" comes in several editions to suit player preferences.

The Standard Edition of the game has a suggested retail price of $39.99.

A Deluxe Edition is also available for $49.99.

This edition includes the full game, plus a Digital Mini Soundtrack, Digital Art Book, Digital Comic, and an exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Documentary featuring actors Hannah Telle (Max) and Rhianna DeVries (Chloe).

Players can choose the Twin Pack for $59.99, which includes both "Life is Strange: Reunion" and "Life is Strange: Double Exposure" (Standard Edition). For collectors, the Collector's Edition is available for $99.99.

This edition is exclusive to the SQUARE ENIX STORE and includes three Polaroid art cards of Max and Chloe, three guitar picks, a rewind slipmat for record players, a Drugstore Makeup poster, and a vinyl soundtrack with 12 songs from the game.

Players who pre-order any edition will receive the Max and Chloe Classic Outfits DLC as a bonus.
