Significant Improvements
The Framework Laptop 13 Pro comes with several crucial improvements that set it apart from the previous generation.
One of the standout features is significantly improved battery life, thanks to a 74Wh battery that is claimed to last for over 20 hours of 4K Netflix streaming.
This is 12 hours longer than the previous-generation Framework Laptop 13 and even slightly surpasses the endurance of the 14-inch MacBook Pro M5.
Performance-wise, this laptop is powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 ("Panther Lake") processors, with options up to the Core Ultra X9, and an AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series motherboard is also available.
This is the first Framework laptop to be entirely constructed from CNC-milled 6000-series aluminum, providing extreme rigidity and durability.
For memory, the Framework Laptop 13 Pro supports highly power-efficient and upgradeable LPCAMM2 memory with speeds up to 7467 MT/s.
Cross-generation compatibility is also a plus, with the new motherboard and Display Kit adopting the same form factor and interface as the previous generation.

Superior Specifications
This laptop is available with CPU options up to an Intel Core Ultra Series 3 X9 (including Core Ultra 5 and Core Ultra X7) or an AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series, such as the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370.
Graphics options include up to an integrated Intel B390 or 12 Xe3 cores on the X7 and X9 Intel Core Ultra Series 3 versions.
RAM capacity can be upgraded to 64GB using LPCAMM2 modules, with 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB options available, supporting LPDDR5X up to 7467 MT/s. Internal storage is user-upgradeable, using the M.2 2280 format.
The 13.5-inch display has a 3:2 aspect ratio, 2880 x 1920 resolution, a 30-120 Hz adaptive refresh rate, 700 nits brightness, and touch support.
The 74 Wh battery is claimed to retain 80% capacity after 1,000 charge cycles.
The chassis is made of CNC-machined 6000-series aluminum, measures 15.
86 mm thin and weighs 1.4 kg, and is available in Graphite and Silver.
Modern connectivity is also available with Wi-Fi 7 and PCIe 5.0 support for Intel Core Ultra Series 3 versions.
The laptop also supports Dolby Atmos audio and features a keyboard with increased 1.5 millimeter key travel, as well as a 1080p webcam.
Users have the flexibility to choose their operating system, with options for Ubuntu pre-installed, no OS, or Windows 11.
Pricing and Availability
The Framework Laptop 13 Pro is available for pre-order starting April 21, 2026, with first shipments scheduled for June.
