Invincible VS Officially Launches: Gameplay Features, Price, and Availability!

Invincible VS, the 3v3 tag fighting game, is now officially released, bringing the brutal action and iconic characters from the Invincible universe.

Liputan6.com, Jakarta - The highly anticipated 3v3 tag fighting game, Invincible VS, officially launched on April 30, 2026.

Developed by Quarter Up, Skybound Games' first internal studio, featuring veterans from the core team behind 2013's "Killer Instinct," the game promises a brutal and immersive fighting experience.

Available for PlayStation 5, Windows (via Steam and the Microsoft Store), and Xbox Series X/S, Invincible VS invites players to dive into the arena as a team of their favorite characters.

Focusing on three-character team combat, the game is designed to satisfy both hardcore fighting game fans and those new to the genre.

Skybound Games and Quarter Up have put in a lot of effort to bring the brutal and dynamic essence of the Invincible universe to life in an interactive format.

Invincible VS: Brutal Combat in the Superhero Universe

Invincible VS brings a brutal 3v3 tag fighting genre to the table, allowing players to battle it out with teams of their favorite superhero characters in iconic locations.

The gameplay system is highly interactive, with players able to “active tag” to switch characters mid-combo, continue the pressure, or use “counter tag” to escape their opponent’s combo.

The game’s combat is designed to be fast-paced and bone-chilling, featuring ferocious Super and Ultimate moves.

The Omni-Tag feature allows fighters to swap fighters mid-combo, extending the pressure, countering counterattacks, or avoiding danger.

Additionally, the “Overkills” mechanic serves as finishing moves that further enhance the brutal nature of the match, in keeping with the Invincible universe.

The game’s controls are quite intuitive, featuring light, medium, heavy, and special attack buttons.

Players can also enhance special attacks using the boost button, or perform auto-combos by simply pressing the light button repeatedly.

Invincible Game Modes and Iconic Characters

Invincible VS offers a variety of game modes to suit all player preferences.

The cinematic story mode is one of the main attractions, serves as a playable bonus episode and provide additional context between later episodes of Season 3 of the Invincible series.

In addition to the story mode, there is an Arcade Mode where players can uncover character-specific lore, as well as a Practice Mode for honing combos and learning character move sets.

For a competitive experience, the game offers Competitive and Casual Multiplayer Modes, supporting single-player, Online PvP, Online Co-op, and even Cross-Platform Multiplayer.

The base roster of playable characters is 18, including popular names like Mark Grayson (Invincible), Omni-Man, Atom Eve, Rex Splode, and Allen the Alien.

Four additional characters are also planned as downloadable content (DLC).

Interestingly, the game introduces its first original character, Ella Mental, voiced by rapper Tierra Whack and created by Robert Kirkman and Cory Walker.

Most of the voice cast from the Amazon animated series also reprises their roles, including J.K. Simmons as Omni-Man and Gillian Jacobs as Atom Eve.
