Liputan6.com, Jakarta The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has officially opened the second presale phase for tickets for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

This phase, known as the "Early Ticket Draw," begins on Monday, October 27, 2025, and will end on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 11 a.m. ET (4:00 p.m. CET).

There are over one million tickets already sold in the first phase.

With a total of 104 matches to be played in 16 host cities, FIFA has approximately 7 million seats available, making it the largest World Cup in history.

The group draw will not be held until December 5, 2025, but that hasn't dampened the enthusiasm of prospective spectators to secure tickets.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino even called the high interest a sign that the 2026 edition will be the most inclusive and largest World Cup in the sport's history.

To participate, fans must register and create a "FIFA ID" at FIFA.com/tickets, even if they have already registered in the previous phase.

Successful applicants will receive notification at least 48 hours before their ticket purchase window opens.

This phase also includes exclusive domestic time slots for residents of Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

Residents of host countries who are successful in the draw will receive priority for 72 hours starting November 12 to purchase single-match tickets in their country.

After this exclusive domestic time slot ends, ticket sales will open globally starting November 17.
