Landman Season 2: More Complex Plot

Following the death of his boss, Monty Miller (Jon Hamm), Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) finds himself as president of M-Tex Oil, a position he never wanted.

He must finalize negotiations on the exploratory drilling deal that Monty pioneered, a high-stakes task that could lead to the company's bankruptcy if it fails.

Tommy must team up with Rebecca (Kayla Wallace), a lawyer he doesn't fully trust.

In addition to business pressures, Tommy must also face a serious threat from a drug cartel that uses M-Tex land for its operations.

Gallino (Andy Garcia), Tommy's new contact within the cartel, is determined to bring his cartel into the oil business, putting Tommy in a highly dangerous and morally challenging position.

Tommy's personal life is equally complex, involving his ex-wife Angela (Ali Larter), his daughter Ainsley (Michelle Randolph), and his son Cooper (Jacob Lofland).

Cooper himself plans to start his own oil company, driven by a desire to build a better life for Ariana (Paulina Chávez), the widow of his deceased co-worker.

Meanwhile, Cami Miller (Demi Moore) will have a much more significant role this season.
