1. Modern Medicine Was Introduced by Ibn Sina
He was a philosopher, doctor, and writer who invented modern medicine. Leaving the old way of treatment where when injured and so on are done by amputation. Based on the oxsci page.
Ibn Sina revolutionized a safer way of treatment. His approach was to treat patients using herbs. It is an antiseptic to prevent and cure severe infections. This is applied to this day. Ibn Sina also introduced about 30 medicinal plants for the treatment and prevention of diseases.
This medicine progressed in the 11th century AD as part of the golden age of Islam while representing the findings of the Persians. Ibn Sina was born in Uzbekistan and was Persian. 2. The World's First Human Rights Charter
As reported by human rights, human rights began in 539 AD when the troops of Cyrus the Great, the first king of ancient Persia, conquered the city of Babylon. This is where the concept of human rights, or the world's first charter, emerged.
At that time, Cyrus the Great freed the slaves in the city of Babylon, declaring that all people had the right to choose their own religion and uphold racial equality. His decision was documented through a clay cylinder baked in Akkadian using a cuneiform script.
This written concept of human rights spread and influenced other nations such as India, Greece, and other Europeans. It gave rise to a new idea that to govern people in a country, they must be bound by written laws, as previously, everything was unwritten based on rational arguments alone.
Future examples include the Magna Carta (1215), Petition of Right (1628), US Constitution (1787), French Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen (1789), and US Bill of Rights (1791).
Today, this first charter of human rights is translated into six official UN languages, and its provisions parallel the first four articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
3. Underground Waterway System (Qanat)
Water scarcity in the Persian region was overcome by the Persians by building an underground aqueduct system. This allowed water to flow from aquifers or wells to homes and fields. Its further function was to irrigate crops and drinking water. This was done through a series of vertical access shafts. This technology was invented as early as the 1st century BC.
The kilometer-deep qanat tunnels were dug by hand. Vertical shafts sunk about 20 to 30 meters apart were used to move excavated material while serving as ventilation and access for repairs. This channel technology spread westward and eastward as it was suitable in the hot, semi-arid, and dry climates of the Middle East. The Qanat is still in use in many countries such as China, Morocco, America, etc.

4. Revolutionizing the Postal System for Fast and Efficient Message Delivery
The postal system built by the Ancient Persians in the 6th century BC was quite comprehensive. They used an extensive road network where the messengers, namely horse riders, could cover great distances. For example, a message from the Persian Empire could be delivered to its destination in minutes.
The ancient Persian postal system was powered by horses designed with an ancient world-style relay system, which made travel fast and efficient and even traveled beyond the borders of the ancient Persian Empire.
5. Ancient Refrigerator (Yakhchal)
Around 400 BC, the Persians made Yakhchal (ice hole), a refrigerator shaped like a dome. The way to make it is to use a kind of mortar made of clay, sand, ash, goat hair, and lime called sarooj to make it waterproof. The place where the water is collected must be sufficient to keep it cold, and the materials used to make the Yakhchal must be enough as an insulator to retain heat.
Another device to keep the Yakhchal cool is the badgir, which catches the wind and diverts it to the Yakhchal. The badgir can raise warm air and replace it with cold air.
The water in the Yakhchal will freeze overnight and then can be cut into blocks so that the water can be drained out for drinking. The Yakhchal can also store food such as fruits, meat, etc.
