'Avengers: Doomsday' Teaser will be Released Soon? Here's What to Know

Rumors of the first trailer for "Avengers: Doomsday" releasing in early December 2025 have been circulating across various platforms.

In fact, several reports indicate that the trailer will likely be released digitally and the date is Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 7:00 PM ET/4:00 PM PT.

The rumor first come from credible industry insiders like Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus, as well as several other online scoopers.

Additionally, the official Fantastic Four social media pages consistently post short clips every Sunday at 7:00 PM.

The clip features Mister Fantastic saying, "Sunday at seven, on the dot," which fans have interpreted as a strong hint at the "Avengers: Doomsday" trailer.

Perez shared a post on X highlighting a reference to The Fantastic Four: First Steps' marketing campaign that portrays the Richards family making it a point to have a family dinner every Sunday at 7 PM.

 The post further added a text message that reads, "What are the chances Avengers: Doomsday's teaser drops on December 7th," followed by some additional marked-out text.

"Avengers: Doomsday" is the fifth installment in the hugely popular Avengers film series, following the massive success of 2019's "Avengers: Endgame."

It is also the 39th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), marking the epic continuation of this superhero saga.

The film is scheduled for release in the United States on December 18, 2026, and will be an integral part of Phase Six of the MCU.

Initially, the release date was delayed several times, due to the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike in 2023.

Anthony and Joe Russo return as directors for "Avengers: Doomsday," while Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron are responsible for writing the screenplay, ensuring a deep and engaging storyline.

Principal photography began in April 2025 at Pinewood Studios in England and concluded in September 2025.

One of the most surprising and anticipated announcements was Robert Downey Jr.'s return to the MCU.

This time, Downey Jr., who is previously known as Tony Stark, will play Victor von Doom, better known as Doctor Doom that will be the main antagonist in "Avengers: Doomsday."

This announcement was officially announced at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in July 2024.

The character of Doctor Doom plays a central role in the film's narrative; even the title "Doomsday" refers to him.

The film is said not only feature Doctor Doom but will also introduce characters from the Fantastic Four and X-Men.

Doctor Doom's connection to the Fantastic Four is further strengthened by the post-credits scene of "The Fantastic Four: First Steps."

The scene shows Doctor Doom with baby Franklin Richards, directly hinting at his role in Marvel's next major saga.

The return of Downey Jr. in this different role is certainly a major draw for "Avengers: Doomsday."
