Liputan6.com, Jakarta - The highly anticipated horror sequel, Five Nights at Freddy's 2, will premiere widely in the United States on December 5, 2025.

Directed by Emma Tammi and written by Scott Cawthon, the film is a direct sequel to the first film, which premiered in 2023.

In addition to the release of this video game adaptation, actress Elizabeth Lail, who reprises her role as Vanessa Shelly, has garnered attention after her appearance on the red carpet at the premiere.

At the premiere, Elizabeth Lail paired an off-shoulder dress with dainty earrings and black open-toed heels.

She kept her look simple, styling her long blonde hair in loose curls and completing her look with dewy makeup.

Elizabeth Lail's Bold Appearance

She becomes attention at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, wearing a sheer red gown.

Elizabeth posed for photographers alongside her co-star, Josh Hutcherson, who looked stunning in a black suit and gray shirt.

Best known for playing police officer Vanessa Shelly in the first film in the franchise, the actress has been a hot topic on social media.

"I love Miss Lail. She's beautiful. And she's not wearing a bra," wrote one user on X.

"Dreamy night celebrating FNAF 2," Elizabeth—who also appeared in 2023's Five Nights At Freddy's movie alongside Josh Hutcherson and Matthew Lillard—wrote on Instagram following the premiere. 

"Feeling lucky to be apart of this world with these incredible people."

However, the 33-year-old isn't always so bold with her fashion choices. As she put it, her personal style can be summed up as "comfortable."

Elizabeth Dean Lail is an American actress born on March 25, 1992, in Williamson County, Texas.

She spent her childhood and grew up in Asheboro, North Carolina.

Lail's interest in acting began to grow at the age of 14, when she landed a small role in a community theater production of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

Lail successfully graduated from Asheboro High School in 2010.

She then continued her higher education at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where she earned a B.F.A. in Drama in May 2014.

Between 2011 and 2014, she starred in several projects such as Model Airplane and Without.

Elizabeth Lail's Acting Career

After graduating from college, Elizabeth Lail decided to move to New York City with the goal of pursuing a career in theater.

However, fate led her to an audition for the ABC series Once Upon a Time and her role as Anna in the fantasy series in 2014 began to gain recognition.

In 2016, she starred in the horror series Dead of Summer as Amy Hughes.

One of her most notable roles is as Guinevere Beck in the psychological thriller series You (2018–2025), which earned her a nomination for Best Actress in a Streaming Presentation at the 45th Saturn Awards.

She also appeared in the horror film Countdown (2019) as Quinn Harris and the comedy film Mack & Rita (2022) as Mack.

Additionally, Elizabeth Lail has had recurring roles in several popular television series, where she played Lola Morgan in the HBO Max teen drama Gossip Girl in 2021.

That same year, she also appeared as Jenny Banks in the NBC drama series Ordinary Joe (2021–2022).

Her most recent and prominent role was as Vanessa Shelly in the film Five Nights at Freddy's (2023) and, of course, its sequel, Five Nights at Freddy's 2 (2025).
