Starbucks Bearista Cups Are Back: Here's How and When to Get the Collector Item!

In response to the enthusiasm and resulting shortage, Starbucks teased a Bearista cup restock on December 7, 2025, via an Instagram post.

The announcement directed customers to check the Starbucks app on December 8, 2025, at 4 a.m. PT.

This Glass Bearista Cup is available as an instant prize during the Starbucks Merrython 2025 program.

Customers can earn a chance to enter Merrython through weekly logins, Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE) forms, weekly challenges, or by purchasing Starbucks products.

The Merrython program runs from December 8, 2025, to January 4, 2026.

While approximately 17,000 cups will be available as prizes, this represents only about 0.17% of the total prize pool, with a chance of winning a Cold Cup of approximately 0.03%.

The "Bearista Bear" concept first appeared in the early 2000s as a plush teddy bear wearing the signature Starbucks apron.

The name "Bearista" itself is a clever play on the word "barista," depicting a bear seemingly ready to serve coffee.
