Production Details and Adaptation Setting
'Run Away' is an eight-episode thriller miniseries adapted from Harlan Coben's 2019 novel.

Directed by Nimer Rashed and Isher Sahota, the series is produced by Final Twist Productions and Quay Street Productions.

Filming locations include iconic areas such as Saddleworth Moor in Greater Manchester, Liverpool, Alexandra Park in Oldham, Heaton Park in Manchester, West Park in Macclesfield, and Manchester University.

Harlan Coben's Signature Style
'Run Away' continues the tradition of Harlan Coben's Netflix adaptations, known for their family dramas filled with twists, buried secrets, and narratives that keep viewers guessing.
Coben himself describes the series as an "emotional roller coaster" that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
The series also explores weighty themes such as addiction, parental guilt, and the question of whether love alone is enough to save someone.
Although some critics have noted a melodramatic style, "Run Away" is predicted to be Netflix's next streaming hit thanks to its fast-paced, twist-filled storyline, perfect for binge-watching.
The adaptation of the location from the United States to the UK also adapts the story's tone to a distinctly British style, giving this thriller a unique touch.
