Filming locations will include Vancouver, Squamish, and Burnaby in Canada, known for their beautiful natural scenery.

Key Cast That 'Changes and Returns'
Most of the core cast from "Virgin River" Season 7 is confirmed to return for the eighth season, bringing back fan-favorite characters.
Alexandra Breckenridge as Mel Monroe and Martin Henderson as Jack Sheridan will remain central to the story.
Likewise, Tim Matheson (Doc Vernon Mullins), Annette O'Toole (Hope McCrea), Colin Lawrence (Preacher), Benjamin Hollingsworth (Brady), Zibby Allen (Brie Sheridan), Sarah Dugdale (Lizzie), and Kai Bradbury (Denny) will all reprise their roles.
However, some familiar faces will not be returning as regulars. Marco Grazzini, who plays Detective Mike Valenzuela, will not appear in Season 8, with the showrunner stating his character may be "on the bench for a while" before potentially returning to Victoria.
Lauren Hammersley (Charmaine Roberts) is also not in the plans for Season 8, although her future return remains a possibility.
Furthermore, Sara Canning (Victoria) and Rachel Drance (Marley) are also confirmed not to be returning in the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, Austin Nichols (Dr. Eli Kelly) and Cody Kearsley (Clay) will continue to have recurring appearances, maintaining connections to previous storylines.
Showrunner Patrick Sean Smith also hinted at the introduction of "new blood," promising a new dynamic in the town of Virgin River.
Anticipated Storyline and Time Jump
The eighth season of "Virgin River" will return to the series' tradition of featuring a four-month time jump at the beginning of the season, a significant change from Season 7, which immediately picked up the story.
This time jump is designed to advance the narrative, show the evolution of relationships and life in the town, and introduce fresh and exciting plot developments.
The primary focus will remain on Mel and Jack, who in Season 7 began to build their marriage and family life.
Season 8 will likely further explore the challenges and joys of their journey as a couple and parents.
Considering Season 7 ended with Mel and Jack adopting Marley's son, who needed emergency surgery, this storyline is sure to be central to the start of Season 8.
Furthermore, Doc and Hope will face their own struggles, working together to protect the clinic and the integrity of Virgin River from external threats.
