Kanye West Releases His Long-Awaited Album "Bully," Here Are the Details!

Kanye West finally released his highly anticipated 12th studio album, "Bully", on March 27, 2026.

Liputan6.com, Jakarta - After a long wait and a series of delays, Kanye West, also known as Ye, officially released his twelfth studio album, "Bully."

The album was released on March 27, 2026, marking the superstar's first full-length solo effort since "Donda" in 2021.

"Bully" was released under the YZY and Gamma label, an independent music company that had just inked a distribution deal with West in January 2026.

This release was a significant moment for fans who had been anticipating the project since its initial announcement in September 2024.

The Long Journey of Kanye West's "Bully" Album

The announcement of the "Bully" album, first announced by Kanye West in September 2024, immediately attracted public and media attention.

The album was originally scheduled for release on June 15, 2025, coinciding with his daughter North West's birthday.

The release date was pushed back to September 26, 2025, then November 7, 2025, December 12, 2025, January 30, 2026, and March 20, 2026, before finally being officially set for March 27, 2026.

In January 2026, Kanye West secured a distribution deal with independent music label Gamma, ensuring "Bully" could reach a wider audience.

This album marks West's first solo project since "Donda," released in 2021.

Although "Donda 2" was released via Stem Player in February 2022 and only became available on streaming services in April 2025.

"No AI" and the Album Deep Themes

One interesting aspect of "Bully" is Kanye West's explicit statement denying the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in its production, emphatically stating "NO AI" on the album.

The press release emphasized that "Bully" is neither an apology nor an attempt at redemption, but rather an authentic documentation of West's personal experiences.

"Bully" also includes a short film titled "Bully V1," directed by West himself and edited by Hype Williams.

The film, starring his son, Saint West, was released on March 18, 2025, in several versions, and then as a music video on March 21, 2025.

The album's name, "Bully," was inspired by an incident in which Saint West kicked a child for being "weak," a moment also depicted in Saint's appearance on the album cover.

Heavy Promotion and Tracklist for "Bully"

Prior to the release of the full album, Kanye West released several songs as singles or extended plays (EPs) to build momentum.

Then, on July 4, 2025, a second EP featuring "Last Breath" and "Losing Your Mind" was also released.

Promotion for "Bully" intensified in January 2026, when the Yeezy website was updated with pre-order options for the album in various formats, including multi-colored vinyl, CD, cassette, and exclusive bundles.

Kanye West also held a series of concerts and listening parties in various global locations, including Shanghai, China (July 12, 2025), and Mexico City, Mexico (January 30, 2026), in support of the album.
