The sad news was announced by Mark and his wife, Kelly Ripa, on the April 6, 2026, episode of “Live with Kelly and Mark.”

Saul Consuelos passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, after battling a long illness.

He described his father as a fascinating and inspiring person.

The family is now working to support each other, especially Mark’s mother, Camilla, during this difficult time. They are even planning to persuade Camilla to move to New York to be closer to the family.
