Taylor Momsen's spider bite incident began on April 8, 2026, while she was on tour in Mexico City.

At that moment, a large spider suddenly bit her, causing its venom to spread throughout her system.

Momsen immediately shared a video on Instagram and X showing herself receiving emergency medical treatment.

In the post, Taylor Momsen explained that she had to receive an injection from doctors in Mexico immediately before that night's show.

Despite initial treatment, the venomous spider bite proved to be more serious than expected and required further monitoring in hospital.

Several days after the initial bite, Taylor Momsen's condition worsened, raising serious concerns.

On April 14, 2026, Momsen posted a photo on Instagram showing a worsening rash on her calf, stretching from her knee to her ankle.

Despite this, Momsen remained determined to perform, writing, "Hospital today, show tomorrow, venomous spiders are NOT GOOD, but the show must go on, see you tomorrow Mexico City!"

However, her symptoms proved more severe than she expected, requiring her to spend the night in the hospital.

On April 15, 2026, Taylor Momsen provided an update from the hospital, including a photo of herself in a hospital bed with an ice pack on her head.
