Jake Hall: The Only Way is Essex Star Dies in Mallorca Aged 35

Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Former star of the British reality show "The Only Way Is Essex" (TOWIE), Jake Hall, reportedly died at the age of 35 in early May 2026.

The former model and fashion designer, who rose to fame on a reality TV show in 2015, died of head injuries at a villa in Majorca, The Sun reports.

Hall was found dead on Wednesday morning, May 6, 2026, in a rented villa in Santa Margalida, Mallorca, after an emergency call was received at around 7:30 a.m. local time.

A spokesperson for the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office said: "We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Spain and are in contact with the local authorities."

Jake Hall was found unresponsive with head injuries believed to have been caused by broken glass.

Initial reports indicated that he may have hit his head on a glass door or window, causing the fatal injuries.

Some sources even stated that Hall was found in a pool of blood with severe head injuries.

While there are conflicting reports regarding the location of the fatal wound, whether to the chest or head, all point to the shattering of the glass door or window as the cause of the injury.

Spanish police are considering the theory that his death was a tragic accident after he hit his head on the glass door.

Several eyewitnesses reportedly reported that Hall may have been extremely agitated after a night of partying and injured himself by jumping out of a window.

Jake Hall's death is currently being investigated by the Spanish Civil Guard.

As part of the investigation, four men and two women who were staying at the same villa have been questioned by police.

They reportedly testified that they had been partying outside and continued after returning to the villa in the early hours of the morning.

To date, no arrests have been made in connection with Hall's death.

To determine the official cause of death, an autopsy will be performed soon in Palma, the capital of Mallorca.

Hours before his death, Jake Hall posted a video on his personal Instagram account from Mallorca.

The post featured moments with his daughter, River, dancing and painting, as well as enjoying time on the island.

The caption of his final post read: "Life is bollocks sometimes, but I'm gonna try to remember the good things – ✨⚡️ looking through things – I'm just making art – in many forms."

The production team of "The Only Way Is Essex" also offered their deepest condolences to Hall's family and friends, remembering him as a member of the TOWIE family for many years.
