The tragic accident involved the collision of two helicopters mid-air over Rio de Janeiro on Sunday morning.

One of the helicopters reportedly crashed into the parking lot of an electric car dealership in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, Rio de Janeiro, which then ignited a fire and destroyed approximately 20 vehicles.
At the time of the tragic accident, Oliver Tree was on a world tour to promote his latest album, "Love You Madly Hate You Badly."
He had just completed a performance in São Paulo, Brazil, on June 6, 2026, and was scheduled to continue his tour to Europe in July 2026.

Details of the Tragic Crash in Rio
The helicopters collided mid-air in the western suburb of Recreio dos Bandeirantes before plummeting into the car park of an electric car dealership, setting ablaze about 20 cars, according to firefighters.
The incident claimed a total of six lives.In addition to Oliver Tree, five other victims have also been identified.
They were Argentine YouTuber Gaspar Prim, film director Lucas A. Vignale, and pilot Alexandre Souza, who was on the same helicopter as Oliver Tree.
The second helicopter pilot, Charles Marsillac, also died in the incident.
