The 12 Most Beautiful 2020s Supercars So Far

From Ferrari to Bugatti, here are the 12 most beautiful 2020s supercars so far.

Liputan6.com, Jakarta - This decade has only run for six years, yet it has already produced many beautiful and interesting new supercars. A lot of new models mix strong performance with bold shapes, clean lines, and creative details. One of the most interesting things about the most beautiful 2020s supercars is just how many of them draw inspiration from older iconic cars. Because of this, today's supercars are not only fast machines but also impressive pieces of design that many car fans enjoy looking at.

In this article, we have selected 12 of the most beautiful 2020s supercars will show you what today's best engineers and designers are capable of. Let's check them out.

1. Ferrari 812 Competizione

Taking the already powerful 812 Superfast as a base, Ferrari pushed it further to create a hardcore, track-focused version for the road. The result is sharper aerodynamics, including a completely closed rear screen with vortex generators — a world first for any production car. With an upgraded V12 producing 819 hp at 9,500 rpm, only 999 coupes and 599 open-top Aperta units were made, and both sold out almost immediately.

2. Aston Martin Valkyrie

Made together with Red Bull Racing, the Valkyrie comes as close to a Formula 1 car as a road car possibly can. Its low, flat body and exposed underfloor channels airflow in ways borrowed directly from motorsport. With over 1,160 hp from a hybrid V12, only 150 were ever built, making it one of the rarest and most dramatic-looking cars of this decade.

3. Lamborghini Sián FKP 37

Named after the Bolognese word for "lightning," the Sián is Lamborghini's first hybrid production car. Its design features Y-shaped LED headlights, six hexagonal rear lights that nod to the classic Countach, and an active rear wing marked with the number "63" in reference to the year Lamborghini was founded. Only 63 coupes and 19 roadsters were produced.

4. McLaren Speedtail

Many see the Speedtail as the spiritual successor to the iconic McLaren F1, sharing the same center driving position and three-seat layout. Designed to be McLaren's fastest road car ever, its long, smooth teardrop shape flows from the front all the way to a pointed tail with no traditional rear wing. Instead, the body itself bends into active ailerons. With 1,036 hp and 0–300 km/h in just 12.8 seconds, only 106 examples were built.

5. Ferrari Monza SP1 / SP2

Part of Ferrari's exclusive Icona series, the Monza SP1 (single seat) and SP2 (two seats) are open-top speedsters with no roof and no traditional windscreen. Instead, Ferrari developed a patented "Virtual Wind Shield" to manage airflow around the cockpit. With 810 PS from a V12 engine, their sculptural monolithic body design makes them look unlike anything else on the road.

6. Aston Martin V12 Speedster

With no roof, no windows, and no windscreen, the V12 Speedster is Aston Martin's most dramatic open-air car in years. Its design draws from the 1959 Le Mans-winning DBR1 and from fighter jet cockpits, where each of the two seats sits inside its own glass aero ramp. Almost the entire body is carbon fiber, and only 88 examples were made worldwide.

7. Gordon Murray T.50

Gordon Murray is the man behind the original McLaren F1, and the T.50 is his attempt to build a modern interpretation of that legendary car. Much like the Speedtail, it carries the same three-seat, center-driving-position layout, making it another vision of what a spiritual successor to the F1 could look like. At just 985 kg, it uses a 400mm rear fan to manage airflow and keep the car planted. The Cosworth V12 revs to 12,100 rpm, making it the highest-revving road car engine ever produced.

8. Koenigsegg Jesko

Named after the father of Koenigsegg's founder, the Jesko is a technically astonishing machine wrapped in a striking, angular body. Its 9-speed Light Speed Transmission can shift gears in just 20–30 milliseconds. The Jesko Attack version generates up to 1,400 kg of downforce, while the Absolut variant is estimated to reach 500 km/h, which would make it potentially the fastest production car ever made.

9. Maserati MC20

After years away from the supercar world, Maserati came back strong with the MC20. Its butterfly doors, smooth low hood, and clean curved body give it a timeless look that does not feel overdone. Under the skin, a twin-turbo V6 uses pre-chamber combustion technology borrowed from Formula 1. In 2022, it won evo magazine's Car of the Year, beating cars from Ferrari and McLaren.

10. Ferrari Daytona SP3

Also from Ferrari's Icona series, the Daytona SP3 takes its inspiration from Ferrari's legendary 1960s race cars, including the 330 P4, 350 Can-Am, and 512 S. Its long hood, wide haunches, and Targa removable roof create a shape that feels both retro and modern at the same time. From 0–200 km/h in just 7.4 seconds, it is as fast as it looks.

11. Pagani Huayra R

A track-only machine built for those who want the ultimate driving experience, the Huayra R is one of the most visually complex cars ever made. Every vent, fin, and surface has a purpose. Built using Carbo-Titanium HP62-G2 composite, it generates 1,000 kg of downforce at 320 km/h. With a bespoke 6.0L naturally aspirated V12 developed with HWA AG, only 30 units were ever made.

12. Bugatti W16 Mistral

The last road car to ever use Bugatti's iconic quad-turbo W16 engine, the Mistral is also the world's fastest roadster at 282 mph. Its design draws from the 1934 Bugatti Type 57 Grand Raid, featuring a curved visor windscreen, vertically stacked headlights, and a reimagined horseshoe grille. All 99 examples were priced at around €5 million each, and every single one sold before the car was even revealed to the public.
