Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender Leaked Online Six Months Before Official Release

Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender leaked on social media in April 2026, featuring footage of the adult Team Avatar, six months before its official release.

Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender movie reportedly experienced a significant leak in April 2026.

Several clips from the film surfaced online and quickly went viral on various social media platforms.

This incident happened approximately six months before the film's official release date, scheduled for October 9, 2026.

Initially, many suspected the circulating clips were artificially made.

However, the authenticity of the clips was later confirmed, while Paramount, the studio behind "Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender," has not yet issued an official statement regarding the leak.

Leak Details and Source

On Saturday, April 12, 2026, a user with the handle @ImStillDissin claimed that Nickelodeon accidentally emailed him the entire animated film "Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender."

As proof of his claim, the user posted two clips from the unreleased film.

Many viewers who saw the clips believed them to be authentic, further fueling suspicions of a serious leak.

These widely circulated clips are believed to have originated from a hacking incident targeting Nickelodeon, in which an early copy of the finished film and its script were allegedly stolen and distributed online.

A hacker group calling itself #PeggleCrew is strongly suspected of being behind the release of these clips.

Their name is even watermarked on the leaked clips, suggesting they released them to demonstrate ownership of the complete film and threaten the studio.

The leaked clips were later removed from Platform X after the original post garnered over 100,000 likes, along with the message "This media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner."

Contents of the Leaked Avatar Movie Trailer

According to a report from Polygon, one of the leaked clips shows Team Avatar working together to heal an ancient Airbender trapped in ice.

The second clip circulating appears to be from the end of the film, showing the ancient Airbender attempting to pull a temple from the Spirit World into the real world.

The leaked credits image also provided previously unknown character details, including Ke Huy Quan as Avatar Xian, Ken Jeong as the Cabbage Merchant, Dave Bautista as an ancient Airbender named Tagah, and a creature voiced by Waititi called Gorillavark.
