The allegations allege that Mickelson engaged in non-consensual and inappropriate physical contact with a female employee in the clubhouse in the "early spring" of this year.

The employee immediately reported the incident to her supervisor, who then prompted an independent review and investigation by the club.

Responding swiftly and decisively to the incident, club officials confronted Mickelson on the golf course and asked him to leave immediately.

"To protect the safety and privacy of our staff and member, we are unable to speak further on the matter."

The statement also unequivocally reiterated the club's unwavering commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all staff and members.

"Any misunderstanding has been cleared up. Phil continues to attend to a family health matter and is uncertain when he will be able to return to professional golf," a spokesperson for Mickelson told Golf Digest

The spokesperson also mentioned that Mickelson is dealing with family health issues and is unsure when he will return to professional golf, suggesting his current focus is off the course.

The Farms, located about 10 miles from Torrey Pines, is a private club where some of the top players are members, such as Annika Sorenstam and Xander Schauffele, who both have primary residences in Florida.
