Marvel Rivals Season 6: Deadpool Arrives as the First Multi-Role Hero

Deadpool will be a major highlight in the Marvel Rivals Season 6 update, joining the game as the first multi-role hero with three roles simultaneously: Vanguard, Strategist, and Duelist.

Alejandro Saab voices Deadpool, ensuring the character has a distinctive and familiar persona for fans.

To maintain game balance, only one Deadpool can appear on each team in Quick and Competitive modes.

Deadpool is equipped with dual weapons: a pistol and a katana, allowing him to engage in both ranged and close-range combat.

As a Duelist, he focuses on high damage with his weapons, while the Vanguard role allows him to shield teammates with a unicorn plushie.

In the Strategist role, his pistol and sword not only damage enemies but can also heal teammates, making him a versatile asset.

Deadpool also features an RPG-like ability upgrade mechanic, where he can consult books to strengthen certain skills during a match.

His ultimate ability charges faster based on his "fancy fighting style," and its effects vary depending on his role.

A new team-up with Jeff the Shark will also be introduced, where Jeff will spit toys from Deadpool's collection onto the battlefield for healing and disruption in Marvel Rivals.

In addition to Deadpool, Marvel Rivals Season 6 will also introduce an exciting new convoy map, "Museum of Contemplation."

This map is scheduled to launch on January 29th.

Set in the museum owned by The Collector, aka Taneleer Tivan, this map promises a rich backstory and new strategic challenges for Marvel Rivals players.

Furthermore, midway through Season 6, Elsa Bloodstone, a renowned monster hunter, will join the roster of playable heroes.

Several Team-Up modes will see changes, including the removal and addition of new abilities, while the Marvel Zombies mode will be temporarily removed, with the promise of a new PvE mode in the first half of 2026.

This update also includes extensive balance adjustments, with buffs and nerfs to various heroes, as well as a rework for Namor.

Many adorable new accessories will also be available for various characters in Marvel Rivals.
